Our “Overall” Trainer Ratings are a great “blanket” figure to get a sense of how good a trainer has been over the long haul. Additionally, you can compare a trainer’s Overall Rating with more specific Situational Ratings to get a sense of potential upside or downside in today’s conditions. And now our Overall Ratings have a new utility. We’ve added them to the running lines whenever there’s a change in trainers (such as after a claim), so you can quickly check to see if a horse is moving into a barn that is typically better or worse.

What do the white boxes mean in the trainer ratings. Can I count them as heavily as the yellow boxes for Trainer Moves?
