Belmont Park Horses in Focus for Sunday, October 7th

Race 6: Joyful Heart (#2)
Ran well in the With Anticipation last time despite traveling a distance that was too far for him.
Showed a ton of ability over this course and distance against maidens.
Should be able to secure the early lead over a course that is favoring the inside path.
8-1 on ML

Race 7: Jaywalk (#2)
Put in a strong rally to run down the swift Congrats Gal last time, and that rival returned to win impressively.
Is bred to handle route distances as a 3/4-sister to route stakes winner Danzatrice.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, John Servis is 28 for 89 (31 percent, $3.98 ROI) with non-maidens stretching out on the dirt.
5-1 on ML

Race 8: Onthemoonagain (#1)
Had trouble in her U.S. debut, where she got pushed into the rail in a rough stretch run.
Was against the flow of the race in the Glens Falls last time when she was wide behind a very slow pace.
Should not mind some give in the ground given her solid European form.
9-2 on ML
