Race 3: Big Mischief (#2)
Closed well to be third in her Monmouth debut despite not changing leads in the stretch.
Has some turf pedigree, as a daughter of Into Mischief out of a Rock Hard Ten dam.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Chad Brown is 3 for 4 ($7.80 ROI) with horses making their turf debuts while dropping into maiden claiming company for the first time.
4-1 on ML
Race 6: Dr. Shane (#4)
Appears to be the fastest of all in the early going, which makes him especially dangerous over this turf course.
Should appreciate the turnback in distance after having to race over longer trips at Belmont Park.
Has significantly improved on turf since being transferred into Danny Gargan’s barn.
5-1 on ML
Race 8: Combatant (#3)
Did not have the easiest of trips in the Hall of Fame last time, as he was chasing a run-off leader while racing 3-wide.
Should appreciate the slight cutback to a mile as shorter distances are better for him.
Deserves a chance over firm turf, since he’s actually bred to do well on grass.

Look for this 2yr old to get the cake for JT Ryerson …
