Belmont Park Horses in Focus for Saturday, June 2nd

Race 4: Catch a Cab (#7)

Steps up in class, but has been in excellent form.

Showed promise earlier in his career, but had to deal with layoffs and some troubled trips.

Possesses the tactical speed to stay relatively close to likely pacesetter Changewilldoyagood.

10-1 on ML

Race 6: Orecchiette (#9)

Takes a realistic drop in class as she returns to New York.

Had real traffic trouble in her last two starts of 2017.

DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Jonathan Thomas is 3 for 9 (7 in the money) with horses coming off 120-240 day layoffs on the turf ($2.84 ROI).

8-5 on ML

Race 10: Reflected Star (#6)

Raced wide around both turns two back.

Faced a stronger field last time and gets some appropriate class relief here.

Bill Mott gets a 94 TimeformUS Trainer Rating with horses going form allowance to claiming company.

5-1 on ML
