Belmont Park Horses in Focus for Saturday, May 5th

Race 4: Lady Suebee (#1)
The Pace Projector is predicting that she will be in front in a situation favoring runners on or near the lead.
Only requires slight improvement on her prior dirt form.
Is a half-sister to 3 turf winners, including $300,000-earning European runner Mutual Force.
6-1 on ML

Race 7: Getoffmyback (#6)
Ran a respectable race last time after a disappointing performance 8 days earlier.
Has back races that would make him awfully tough here, and this barn has a knack for getting them to improve.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past two years, Ray Handal is 8 for 39 (21 percent, $3.38 ROI) first off the claim.
7-2 on ML

Race 8: Battle Joined (#10)
Was facing a tougher field when fourth behind stakes-quality runners Rubilinda and Vigor in her prior start.
Showed that she is capable of running well off an extended layoff last May.
Should go off at a square price in a very competitive field.
8-1 on ML

Race 9: Phi Beta Express (#5)
Is predicted to be the front-runner and the Pace Projector is indicating a situation favoring horses on or near the lead.
Ran quite well on Sep. 20 and Dec. 22 after setting fast paces, earning some of the highest TimeformUS Speed Figures in the field.
Danny Gargan got him to run well off a layoff first time out for this barn.
6-1 on ML
