Race 4: Conquest So True (#2)

Was hindered by a slow pace last time out while facing a better rival in Wildcat Belle.

Has handled this distance in the past.

DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, David Jacobson is 8 for 17 (47 percent, $3.20 ROI) with horses going from sprints to routes on the dirt second off the claim and running back on short rest of 14 days or less.

7-2 on ML

Race 5: Miss Sizzle (#4)

Should play out as the controlling speed.

Her best dirt effort came over a sloppy, sealed racetrack, sometimes indicative of turf ability.

Is bred to handle turf, being by First Defence out of a dam that has produced multiple turf winner Whiskey Seven.

6-1 on ML

Race 8: Dr. Shane (#2)

Ran well in a few of his turf sprints last year despite not winning.

Gets a positive trainer change to Danny Gargan.

The Pace Projector is predicting he will be on or near the lead in a situation favoring the front-runners.

8-1 on ML
