Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Friday, November 24

Race 4: Rapt (#7)

Has had excuses in two of his last three starts.

Is coming off the best performance of his career when third behind Black Tide and Offering Plan in the Mohawk.

The Pace Projector is predicting he will get a fast pace to close into.

4-1 on ML

Race 8: Dalarna (#6)

Tends to pull himself up in his races and may have made the lead too soon last time.

Is quickly improving, and faces another field of suspect quality.

DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Kelly Rubley is 9 for 37 (24 percent, $3.95 ROI) with last-out winners on the turf.

8-1 on ML

Race 9: Run and Go (#1)

Is bred to handle the stretch-out in distance, as a daughter of Union Rags out of a dam that has produced a few route winners.

It’s a good sign that she’s even running in this race after such a poor effort last time.

DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Todd Pletcher is 28 for 80 (35 percent, $3.20 ROI) with non-maidens stretching out to a route on dirt for the first time.

12-1 on ML
