Belmont Horses in Focus for Wednesday, October 4th

Race 1: D’ambrosio (#4)
Ran well behind next-out winner Spieth two back, earning a competitive 105 TimeformUS Speed Figure.
Was compromised by an inside speed bias last time at Saratoga, when he got a three- to four-wide trip.
May play out as the controlling speed in this short field.
7-2 on ML

Race 4: Anna Rae (#1)
Makes her first start off the claim by Brad Cox, who gets a 100 Trainer Rating in this situation.
Despite never winning on turf, her dam placed in 7 of her 10 starts over that surface and clearly preferred it.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Brad Cox is 12 for 40 (30%, $3.18 ROI) with non-maidens making their turf debuts.
8-1 on ML
