Saratoga Horses in Focus for Wednesday August 30th

Race 4

Foreign Affair (#2)

Overcame a slow pace in her debut at Saratoga last summer.

Was off very slowly in her return at Belmont two back.

Showed improved tactical speed on dirt last time and should be forwardly placed on the stretch-out.

8-1 on the morning line

Race 9

Morrison (#1)

Is bred for turf, by strong grass sire The Factor and out of a dam that produced a turf stakes-placed runner.

Is drawn perfectly down toward the rail, and the turf courses have been favoring runners that race on the hedge.

Irad Ortiz should revert to the front-running tactics employed successfully in Morrison’s debut.
