Saratoga Horses in Focus for Saturday July 29th

Race 2:

Capitaine (#7)

His dam won on turf and is a full sister to multiple graded stakes-winning turfer Justenuffhumor.

Has run his best race on a sealed track, which is sometimes indicative of turf ability.

The Pace Projector is predicting a fast pace, which figures to aid this midpack runner.

15-1 on ML

Race 6:

Tasit (#4)

Was extremely keen without cover and ran off on her rider midway through his last race.

Should put forth a better effort if Julien Leparoux can get him covered up this time.

Showed some ability early in his career and has a right to take a big step forward here.

20-1 on ML

Race 9:

Sadler’s Joy (#4)

Was badly compromised by a slow pace last time in the Manhattan when he ran the fastest final quarter-mile.

Should have been a clear second in the Man o’ War after having traffic trouble in upper stretch.

Should enjoy the stretch-out in distance and has handled three turns on multiple occasions.

3-1 on ML
