Belmont Horses in Focus for Saturday June 10th

Race 2:

Jamminwithbrandon (#4)

Chased down a fast pace two back while earning a competitive 116 TimeformUS Speed Figure.

Got a peculiar ride last time in which he lost position before rallying again late.

Low-profile connections will ensure a huge price in a race where the favorites look vulnerable.

30-1 on ML

Race 4:

Salty (#8)

Was stopped in traffic at two key points in the final quarter-mile of the Kentucky Oaks.

Is better suited to the turnback to a one-turn mile than Oaks winner Abel Tasman.

Can sit closer to the pace in a race that does not feature that much speed.

4-1 on ML

Race 7:

Petrov (#11)

Ran better than it appears in his two sprints at the start of his career.

Earned the highest TimeformUS Speed Figure in the field (121) when second in the Southwest.

Should love the turnback in distance.

8-1 on ML

Race 8:

Celestine (#5)

Comes into this race using the same pattern as last year.

Christophe Clement gets a 100 TimeformUS Trainer Rating with runners off 52-88-day layoffs in 3-year-old+ stakes.

Loves this one-turn mile distance.

3-1 on ML
