Belmont Park Horses in Focus on Saturday October 15th

Race 1:

Outrun (#2)
Todd Pletcher gets a 100 trainer rating with second-time starters.
Was pinned down on the rail while racing greenly in his debut.
Is bred to handle the stretch-out in distance.
3/1 on ML
Race 6:
Tombelaine (#6)
Has run his best races at this distance.
His lone start in this country is better than it appears.
A return to his Irish form would make him awfully tough to beat against this group.
4/1 on ML
Race 8:
Believe in Bertie (#2)
Earned the highest speed figure in the field, a 118, last time out.
Brad Cox is in the midst of a fantastic meet at Belmont.
Had a nightmare of a trip in her only poor effort on turf, in the Edgewood back in May.
10/1 on ML

  1. Steven Rapoport says:

Bertie was hammered at the load.
Someone else thought shed wire them.

  2. rick baldwin says:

Well”Outrun”certainly was-who picked that name anyway?I could never him.
“Tomberlaine”was Doomed-berlaine when bumped at the start but almost got back outa da grave.
Don’t “Believe In Bertie”until she finds an easier crew to flirty with.
