Prefers firm ground, which he’s likely to get.
Bill Mott gets an 88 trainer rating with horses making their second starts back from a layoff.

Should fall into a good trip as one of the late runners behind a fast pace.
A few horses that finished behind him last time have come back to improve their speed figures.
Linda Rice gets a 100 trainer rating with horses moving from allowance to stakes company.

Irish Rookie (#9)
 
Was competitive against Grade 1 and Grade 2 level competition in Europe.
Handles good-to-firm ground.
Does her best work at a mile.
10/1 on ML

Lani (#10)
 
Did not get great trips in either the Derby or Preakness.
Has by far the strongest pedigree for a mile and a half.
Owns the best late pace rating at 129.
