Horses in Focus at Aqueduct and Santa Anita on Saturday February 20th

Hand-selected by The TimeformUS team, Horses in Focus stand out on our feature sets, such as pace projector, TimeformUS speed figures, spotlight ratings, trainer ratings, pedigree ratings, etc. Expect to see TimeformUS Horses in Focus on this blog typically every Wednesday-Sunday. If Horses in Focus are available for tracks with a later post-time, they will be added to this post throughout the day.

Race 4:

Littlebitadominic (#4)
Ran well, within the context of the race, last time, setting a legitimate pace before idling late.
Despite being a maiden claimer, that was a live race in which many horses have come back to improve their speed figures.
Confidently stepped back up in class.
5/1 on ML
Race 6:
Stevie Q (#4)
Was very green first time out; has been gelded since then.
Chad Brown gets a 100 trainer rating with second-time starters.
Has plenty of dirt pedigree on dam’s side.
5/1 on ML
Race 9:
Dannie’s Deceiver (#6)
Has speed in a race predicted to favor horses on or near the lead.
Was hindered by racing close to a dead rail last time.
Turns back to a more appropriate distance.
5/1 on ML

Race 7:

Prince Valiant, the 4 horse:

Pace Projector shows him on the early lead.

Has the fastest last-out speed figure in the field: a 97.

Training decently and taking a class drop that we look for.

3-1 on ML.
Race 8:

Her Emmynency, the 9 horse:

Pace Projector shows her in striking distance early.

Earned a strong 125 figure at Keeneland.

Training in splendid fashion for her return to the races.

6-1 on ML.
