Dropping into a much easier spot.
Broke slowly and became rank last time before understandably tiring.
Pace Projector is predicting he could be on the lead early.

John Toscano gets a 91 trainer rating with horses rising in claiming price by 50% or more.
Ran competitive speed figures in her first two starts.
Tried to duck into the gap at the start last time; cost herself early position.
12/1 on ML

Jet Black (#3)
Took a lot of early money in debut before his price drifted up late.
Raced two- to three-wide on a day when horses on the rail seemed to have an advantage.
In a small sample, Gary Sciacca does much better with second-time starters than debut runners.

SANTA ANITA 

Race 4:

Rim Nick, the 3 horse:

Has the fastest early pace rating in the field.

Earned strong speed figure of 95 in debut.

Trained very well since raced.

7-2 on ML.

Facing easier today.

Speed figures are on the improve.

Usually runs his race at this racetrack.
