#3 Sheyn Vi Di Levone finished behind a few of her rivals today in her debut run upstate last month, but there is reason to believe that she can turn the tables on at least some of those horses in today’s 9th race.
Sheyn Vi Di Levone took money in that race to go off a clear second choice in the wagering. After breaking slowly from the gate, she raced greenly while last through the early stages. Taken to the outside on the backstretch, she was kept in a tough wide trip all the way through the second turn and stretch before weakening late. Despite ultimately finishing 6th in that race, she showed enough to work on, and we believe that she is the type who could improve quickly in this spot for a trainer whose rating of 73 with first-time starters improves to a strong 93 with second-time starters.
