TimeformUS Horses in Focus and Top Plays for Friday November 28th

Hand-selected by The TimeformUS team, Horses in Focus stand out on our feature sets, such as pace projector, TimeformUS speed figures, spotlight ratings, trainer ratings, pedigree ratings, etc. We offer expanded analysis on one of the Horses in Focus, as well as designating which horse is our Top Play on the day. Expect to see TimeformUS Horses in Focus on this blog typically every Wednesday-Sunday. If Horses in Focus are available for tracks with a later post-time, they will be added to this post throughout the day.

Today’s Top Play at Aqueduct

Race 4:

#6 Wild Freud

Broke slowly, then rushed forward to contest a fast pace first time out.

Was also racing along a dead rail throughout that debut effort.

Still held well to be beaten just under 4 lengths in an effort that may have been much better than it appears.

12/1 on ML.

Win bet on Wild Freud.

Additional Horse in Focus at Aqueduct

Race 2:

#2 Blue Collar Cat

Was stuck contesting the pace on the outside for a long way over a track with a strong rail.

Couldn’t see out the mile last time, but turns back to a better distance here.

Trainer has been sending out live runners all meet.

7/2 on ML.

Race 5:

#7 Stalagmite

Was stuck contesting the pace along the deeper inside paths on November 5th.

That was his first start off the re-claim for this trainer, for whom he had been improving before being claimed away.

Pace Projector indicates that he has the best early speed in this race, which is expected to favor frontrunners.

5/1 on ML.
